"The Park" CEO Appointed

"The Park" at Castletroy, Ireland's Premier Retirement Village is pleased to announce the appointment of Neville Furlong to the role of CEO of the Management Company overseeing the control and rental of the houses and apartments. Mr Furlong, a former Irish International rugby player, has considerable senior management experience from a variety of challenging roles within the Defence Forces. He also set up and ran a successful property business prior to joining " The Park".

He is supported in his new role by a formidable Board of Directors, comprised of Mr Brendan Lane of Grant Thornton Accountants (Chairman), Mr Derick Walshe - Director of First Capital and Mr Kersten Mehl - Director of Mehl Property Management Services.

This highly respected Board will bring a wealth of professional experience to assist Mr Furlong in his new challenging role. Mr Lane, as a former Managing Partner of Grant Thornton for 18 years and currently Chairman of the University of Limerick Concert Hall, is well known to the business community in Limerick.

There is unprecedented excitement around this new development. All 89 apartments are sold and a considerable number of the 49 houses are sold or under contract. The entire facility will be completed soon with show houses and apartments available to view. A reception area will also be available for prospective Residents who wish to view the facilities, with the intention of renting a house or an apartment.
